Vauxhall Corsa gets a 2010 eco facelift

The new 2010 model year Vauxhall Corsa has been nipped and tucked, tweaked and polished to produce an impressive average 13% fuel saving across the range.Five out of the six Corsa engines now produce less than 125g/km and the 2010 Corsa Ecoflex diesel now manages up to 76.3mpg (on the Government's not-especially-representative combined figures).How have they made the Corsas so much cleaner?Just good old-fashioned engine tuning, apparently. Porsche Macan makes Harrods debut

THE PORSCHE Macan has been given its first public UK appearance – as the star of a Harrods window display. The world-famous department store in London’s Knightsbridge is playing host to the Macan, the 911 Turbo S, the Panamera S E-Hybrid and a scale model of the amazing 918 Spyder hybrid hypercar. Between 10am and 8pm daily, the public will be able to get up close and personal with each of the distinctive displays, two months before the Macan’s official arrival in British Porsche Centres.

The 500-hp club: The room is getting crowded

At a time when fuel economy counts for just about everything, there's still a horsepower war raging in the United States. The number of fire-breathing wedge-shaped supercars and hot sedans and coupes that can pump out 500 hp or better has nearly doubled in the past five years to more than 70. A decade ago there were just two members of the 500 hp club in the United States: the Ferrari 575M and Lamborghini Murcielago.
